5-Minute Creamy Porridge (that actually keeps you full)
This is so easy, I make it whenever I need something warming, filling and don’t have to put much thought into it. My toddler adores it!
Adding flaxseed adds protein and healthy fats that keep you satisfied until lunch. So no mid-morning hunger pangs!
Ingredients:
• 50g oats
• 300ml plant milk (I use oat milk)
• 1 tbsp ground flaxseed (adds protein & omega-3s)
• Pinch of cinnamon
• Toppings: berries, banana, nut butter (I use peanut butter)
Method:
1. Chuck oats, milk, flaxseed, and cinnamon in a pan
2. Stir on medium heat for 3-4 minutes until thick and creamy
3. Pour into bowl, add your toppings
4. Done!
